Tal practices in the areas of corporate business and employee benefits. She assists business clients in entity formation, asset and equity dispositions, commercial and operational contracting issues, and general retail compliance. In the employee benefits realm, Tal advises plan sponsors on compliance issues related to the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA and assists companies with the design, implementation, and operation of employee pension benefit plans, employee welfare benefit plans and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Tal also conducts ERISA and executive compensation due diligence review for representation and warranty insurance in mergers and acquisitions.
Tal received her law degree from The Ohio State University where she served as a Managing Editor on the Ohio State Entrepreneurial Business Law Journal. Prior to law school, Tal graduated Magna Cum Laude from The George Washington University with a degree in dance and political science and a minor in Judaic Studies.
