Our Employee Benefits Practice Group covers all areas of design and administration of employee benefit plans. Clients include plan sponsors, third-party administrators, healthcare providers, trustees, and other fiduciaries and administrators of ERISA benefit plans.

We frequently represent plan sponsors in connection with Department of Labor and IRS audits, inquiries, and investigations concerning employee benefit plans of every nature. Our attorneys frequently litigate ERISA issues; both benefit claims by plan participants and beneficiaries and fiduciary claims under Title 1 of ERISA. Our ERISA experience includes the defense of service providers to plans, multi-employer plan administration, including withdrawal liability collection and plan termination.

Our benefits attorneys counsel clients on employment agreement benefit issues and non-qualified plan issues, such as non-qualified deferred compensation plans, various forms of stock option plans, phantom stock plans, and equity-based compensation.
