Overview

For over thirty years, Stacy’s overarching goal as a lawyer has been to zealously represent his clients with excellence, professionalism, and integrity. He attended law school for four years at night while holding down a full-time job and raising two children (he now has four children and eight grandchildren)— graduating Magna cum laude. He represents clients in nearly every type of insurance claim under directors and officers policies, EPL policies, fiduciary policies, private equity, and investment advisors policies, including policies issued to public, private and non-profit insureds. Stacy has zealously represented clients in over 500 mediations during his legal career, and has been involved in the most difficult, high-profile, and complex cases. For more than two decades, he has been a contributing author to the leading legal treatise on D&O liability and insurance, Liability of Corporate Officers and Directors (LCOD). Stacy has trained dozens of claims professionals on multiple insurance topics, the impact of bankruptcy, mediation strategies, merger litigation and securities fraud liability and damages issues. In representing clients, he leaves no stone unturned. Stacy has served on the board of directors of a Christian mission in Haiti for fifteen years, ten of which as the president of the mission, and has traveled to Haiti three times while in this role.
