Matthew is an experienced litigation attorney who focuses on business disputes, government investigations, class actions, financial services matters, construction issues, labor and employment, and products-liability litigation. He has developed a deep familiarity with every stage of litigation in state and federal court.

Drawing on his clerkships at both the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Matthew brings a judicial perspective to complex litigation and enforcement matters. Before joining Bailey Cavalieri, he practiced litigation and government enforcement at an Am Law firm. While earning his law degree at The Ohio State University, Mortiz College of Law, he externed with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Supreme Court of Ohio.

At every step, Matthew focuses on developing efficient, winning strategies grounded in practical judicial insight and rigorous analysis. He maintains an active pro bono practice and writes frequently on white-collar, financial services, and emerging technology issues.
