Overview
Jordan’s practice is focused on directors and officers liability insurance coverage. As coverage counsel, she routinely represents primary and excess insurers in a wide variety of complex claims and disputes arising under directors and officers liability insurance, as well as other forms of professional liability insurance, including private equity, employment, cyber, and fiduciary liability policies. Jordan has also represented insurers in insurance coverage litigation in federal and state courts throughout the U.S. Prior to joining the firm, Jordan was an associate at a litigation boutique in Columbus where her practice focused on complex commercial litigation and e-Discovery.

Represented insurers in successful defense of several significant coverage cases, including:
- Digitalbridge Grp., Inc. v. XL Specialty Ins. Co., 2025 Cal. Super. LEXIS 28297 (July 30, 2025) – judgment entered for D&O insurers based on capacity and run-off issues following 8-day bench trial.
- Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. v. AIG Specialty Ins. Co., 2024 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 411 (Cal. Ct. App. Jan. 23, 2024), 2022 Cal. Super. LEXIS 41269 (Cal. Super. June 23, 2022) – summary judgment granted for E&O insurers and affirmed on appeal because claim did not arise from the insured’s performance of professional services.
- Surgery Partners, Inc. v. Nat’l Union Fire Ins. Co., 2023 Fla. App. LEXIS 2232 (2d Dist. Mar. 31, 2023) – summary judgment granted for D&O insurers and affirmed on appeal because the claim was not first made during the policy period.
