Rollyn Cliffton Gibbs, 1935-2025
The attorneys and staff of Bailey Cavalieri LLC mourn the passing of our colleague and friend, Rollyn Cliffton “Cliff” Gibbs, who died on December 13, 2025. For more than five decades, Cliff practiced law in Columbus with distinction, counseling clients in debtor–creditor, bankruptcy, and corporate matters. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Cliff proudly served the United States of America as the leader of the 83rd Army Reserve Command. He exemplified steadiness, dedication, integrity, and all that is good in a soldier. Cliff’s colleagues in the law remember his calm judgment, principled advocacy, and generous mentorship of young lawyers. His legacy of leadership, faith, and devotion to both country and community will endure and continue to be an inspiration for the many lives he touched.
