We also advise these clients about tax pitfalls, such as unrelated business income tax, and their distinctive tax-reporting requirements.

Our attorneys have significant experience in representing – and defending – taxpayers in real property tax matters. We represent our clients in front of County Auditors, Boards of Revision, Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, and the Ohio Supreme Court. We also assist our clients to resolve these disputes at mediation conferences.

Ohio tax law is constantly changing. We work with our clients to stay up to date on those changes, including the Ohio commercial activity tax (CAT). We work to address tax nexus issues to limit tax exposures to certain tax jurisdictions.
